Setting Fitness Goals is one thing but actually seeing them through is much harder. To see long-lasting results with Fitness we know we need to work on our Bodies but we also need to work on our mindsets and train ourselves to have more Positive Thoughts.

Positive Thoughts will allow you have positive expectations that things will turn out well and you will succeed. So even when you find yourself in a situation that you might have previously seen as negative you are able to take a positive spin on it.
You miss a workout session
Instead of beating yourself up about it and thinking about how “impossible” it has been or will be to achieve your Goal. You can think about how much more Energy you will have to Kill your next workout session and take your missed session as a Rest Day.
You Binge and eat a bunch of Unhealthy, Junk Food
Instead of thinking about how “impossible” it is for you to stay away from Unhealthy foods – you can focus your mind on thinking – You’ve now satisfied that craving and now you can focus on eating Healthy again.
Lao Tzu (Chinese Philosopher)
Our Thoughts are extremely important because our Thoughts become our Words, our Words become our Actions and our Actions become our Habits
So if you want to change your Habits and develop a Healthier Lifestyle and Body it all begins with your Thoughts. Thinking Positively about yourself in relation to Health and Fitness will help you achieve your Goals.
Unfortunately (for most of us), thinking Positive Thoughts to build a Positive Mindset is not something we were taught growing up. So as life happens and we continue to have Life Experiences, we might find we tend to have more Negative Thoughts which ultimately pushes us towards a Negative Mindset. We then find it hard to see the silver lining in difficult or challenging situations.
This is where Positive Affirmations come in – Positive Affirmations ( are Phrases or Mantras you repeat to yourself, to describe a specific outcome or who you want to be. At first, these affirmations might not be true, but repeating the statements over-and-over causes the statement to work its way through your mind, slowly changing both your thinking and your reality.
If the idea of affirmations seems a little far-fetched to you, I totally understand where you are coming from. But hey! Let’s say it actually works and the weirdos of the world are right, isn’t it worth a try? (with conviction of course). You have the world to gain and only your time to lose – that is, if you consider speaking to (or thinking of) yourself with love, compassion, and hope a Waste.
I wish you Positive, Happy Thoughts! x
